Aquachek Stabilizer Test Strips - Cyanuric Acid

Stabilizer (cyanuric acid) is required to provide sun screen protection from the UV rays of the sun that destroy chlorine.  With stabilizer, the chorine stays in the water, making it more effective.  With a level of 30-100ppm, pool owners find it easier to maintain a steady chlorine residual and also use less chlorine. 

Dip a strip of one second in the water, wait 30 seconds then compare on the color comparator (located on back of bottle) that shows gradient colors for  0, 30-40, 100, 150, 300.   It's fast and easy.
