Swimming Pool Filters - Above & In-Ground Pools

All pools use one of 3 types of swimming pool filters:

  • Sand Pool Filters
  • Cartridge Pool Filters
  • Diatomaceous Earth or D.E. Pool Filters

If sized properly, all types are capable of providing adequate filtration. When replacing a pool filter, it's often easier to replace one with the same kind unless there are specific benefits one prefers with a different type of pool filter.
