Maintenance is a snap. Simply loosen the clamp ring, open the top, remove the cartridge, and hose it off. That's it!  All Pentair filters feature cartridges made to demanding specifications under the strictest quality control standards. Tips:  Choosing a cartridge filter that is "oversized" for your pump allows for longer filter cycles.  This means you will not have to clean the filters as often.  Thus, purchasing a larger than required cartridge system will provide you with a "less maintenance" filter system.
