Is it MUSTARD Algae? Mustard algae does not "stick" to the suface of a pool. Rather, mustard algae appears as a powdery, yellowish/brown (mustard color) material that settles on the pool's floor. Vacuuming to "waste" will help remove the some of this alage, but the above treatment is the only way to achieve 100% kill. Use of PB Ultra Clarifier to help speed the filtration of the "dead algae" is recommended.
